Shafik Sachedina is an experienced dental surgeon at Sussex Health Care Company where he holds the position of Joint Chairman. Shafik studied at the University of London’s Guy’s Hospital Medical and Dental School. He was born in Tanzania and later moved to England where he worked and even became a National. The Sussex Health Care Company, where Shafik currently works, is a shelter or home for the elderly. It provides support services that may be needed by the people in this area in addition to giving them excellent care.
Dr. Shafik Sachedina started Sussex Health Care with the intentions of providing care to the people who were of age in the community. Apart from been very involved in his company, Dr. Shafik is committed to Aga Khan, Aiglemont. He is a dedicated member of Ismaili Leaders’ International Forum, Committee member of Aga Khan Development Network and FOCUS Humanitarian Assistance International’s Chairman. In the United Kingdom, he previously held the President position at the Ismaili Council. In all positions, he currently holds or has he has held, Shafik believes in serving others relentlessly.
